<p>HAMPTON, VA. &#8212; The Hampton Police Division is seeking the public&#8217;s assistance in locating, <strong>Kasheem Ramel Hart and Peter Burke Jones</strong>, who are wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred on December 15, 2014.</p>
<p>At 6:32 p.m., police responded to the 800 Block of North King Street in reference to a shooting. Upon officer’s arrival, they located a 33-year-old Hampton man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was transported by medics to a local hospital.</p>
<p>The investigation revealed the victim was in the 800 block of North King Street when he was approached by (2) suspects; who displayed firearms and demanded the victim’s property. Once the suspects removed an undisclosed amount of US currency a physical altercation took place between the victim and the suspects. During the altercation, the victim received a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim and the suspects are known to each other and there are suspected narcotic overtones associated with this incident.</p>
<p><strong>Kasheem Ramel Hart</strong> a 27-year-old Hampton man who resides in the 1400 block of Old Buckroe Road is currently wanted in connection with this incident. He has active warrants on file for: one count of maiming, one count of robbery, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.</p>
<p><strong>Peter Burke Jones</strong> a 28-year-old Hampton man who resides in the 400 block of Foxhill Road is currently wanted in connection with this incident. He has active warrants on file for: one count of maiming, one count of robbery, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.</p>
