<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">CHESTERTOWN, MD. – A frightening figure of big-city crime is haunting an idyllic rural area of Maryland and has robbed the same store twice, both times using a machete to get the money and run.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><a href="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Royal-Farms-robber-had-machete-120814.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-large wp-image-6804" src="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Royal-Farms-robber-had-machete-120814-1024x641.jpg" alt="Royal Farms robber had machete 120814" width="1024" height="641" /></a>Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Royal Farms on Church Hill Road near Chestertown at 3:07 am on Dec. 18, 2014, for the second time in two weeks for a robbery perpetrated by a madman waving and threatening clerks with a machete.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> When police arrived they were told by the clerks that the robber entered the store with a machete and demanded money. At the time of the robbery there were two clerks on duty, one who was also on duty on a previous robbery on December 5th. This clerk advised the robber this morning was dressed identical to the suspect on the 5th.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">After leaving the store the suspect was last seen running towards Rt. 544. A getaway vehicle was not observed.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Neither of the employees was harmed and the robbery netted less than $75.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><a href="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Crime-Report.jpg"><img class="alignleft wp-image-3335 size-medium" src="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Crime-Report-252x300.jpg" alt="Crime Report" width="252" height="300" /></a>The responding Deputy was assisted by Dfc. S. Fraser and Deputy R. Davidson from the Queen Anne’s Sheriff’s Office, Officer L. Speight of Chestertown Police and troopers from Maryland State Police Centreville Barrack.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s K9 also responded to attempt a track but was unable to locate the suspect.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On Dec. 5, 2014 at 1:46 am the Sheriff reports that the suspect entered the Royal Farms Store located at 6502 Church Hill Road, Chestertown, Queen Anne’s County armed with a machete. Police say the machete-wielding man threatened the two employees on duty and demanded money, taking all cash and coins from the cash register drawer. The robber then fled in an unknown direction and beat feet. The understandably shaken clerks were not able to identify any vehicle used by the crazed criminal.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say the robber appears to be the same man in both holdups. He is described as a white male or a light-skin black male approximately 5’6” tall. He was wearing a dark grey hooded jacket with an orange colored lining, a camouflage face mask, brown jersey gloves and grey pants.</span></p>
