<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><a href="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/03/MURDER-USA.jpg"><img class="alignleft wp-image-3285 size-medium" src="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/03/MURDER-USA-253x300.jpg" alt="MURDER USA" width="253" height="300" /></a><a href="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Teen-killed-dad-in-Delaware.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-large wp-image-6880" src="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Teen-killed-dad-in-Delaware-1024x665.jpg" alt="Teen killed dad in Delaware" width="580" height="376" /></a>Harrington, Del. – Detectives with the <strong>Delaware State Police Homicide Unit</strong> have arrested a 17-year-old teen in connection with the death of his father.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The investigation began at approximately 9:45 a.m., Thursday December 11, 2014 when officers from <strong>Harrington Police Department</strong>, assisting troopers, responded to 4822 Park Brown Road for a report of a check on the well-being. A Harrington officer was the first to arrive on-scene and was contacted by two co-workers of an adult male who lives at the house. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The co-workers were concerned about the 41-year-old male resident who hadn&#8217;t shown up for work in the past couple of days. When they initially arrived at the house, the two made contact with the man&#8217;s teenage son who claimed he may have killed his father. After placing the 17-year-old in custody, the officer made entry into the house, along with <strong>Kent County Paramedics</strong> and located the 41-year-old victim deceased in a bedroom from an undetermined wound to the upper torso.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Todd E. Ramsey</strong>, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene by county paramedics and was later removed by the Delaware Department of Safety and <strong>Homeland Security Division of Forensic Science</strong> who will perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of death.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Seth H. Ramsey</strong>, 17, was transported to Troop 3 near Camden where he was charged with Murder in the first degree and possession of a deadly weapon during the Commission of a Felony. He was then transported to <strong>Stevenson Detention House in Milford</strong> where he is being held without bail.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detectives continue their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident. <strong>Police report that no motive has been established</strong>.</span></p>
