Revenge on Rapist Darnell Rashard Ford murdered at Safari Hookah Lounge

FALLS CHURCH, VA. — Hooked up with a killer at the Hookah Bar.

Fairfax County Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the subject or subjects responsible for the death of 20-year-old Darnell Rashard Ford of Capital Heights, Maryland.
Shortly after 2 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, Ford was apparently shot by someone outside the Safari Lounge, located at 5831 Columbia Pike. Ford was in the parking lot to the rear of the business when the shooting occurred.

There were several celebrations taking place at the lounge and police believe someone has vital information about the shooting. Detectives do not believe this is a random act and therefore there is no apparent, overt threat to public safety.

Cited in Ocean City, Md. On August 16, 2014 by Ocean City Police Officer R. Gutowski for failing to attach registration plates on front and rear of his Volkswagen. Driving without a license.  Ford failed to appear for court date on Oct. 8, 2014. A warrant for Ford was issued by Judge Daniel R. Mumford.

Ford was out on bond for a pending rape case in Prince Georges County, Md., on a charge for an alleged rape and assault he committed while a juvenile, on Dec. 3, 2011. The case was remanded back to juvenile court on April 27, 2012.

Ford may have been charged with the rape of a child.

Court records contain this sentence: “…as may be necessary to determine if a waiver is in the best interest of the child and/or society, and thereafter file with the Circuit Administrative Judge a report based thereon…”

Ford was represented by attorney Gale Saccarelli, of Harwood, Md.
