VALLEY LEE, MD. (Oct. 18, 2014) — Earlier this month, the LongHorn Steakhouse in California delivered and served lunch to 45 firefighters at the Second District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad (Lee Valley). The delivery was just a small gesture to thank the firefighters for their dedication to keeping the community safe year-round.
The delivery was even more special for Michael Bollen, a volunteer firefighter and server at LongHorn Steakhouse since it opened in January 2013.
Michael went to school for enhancing his firefighting skills and graduated in the top 2 of his class with a 94% average. In 2010, he landed in the top 10 runner of calls and was known to be continuously was ready to serve the St. Mary’s County area at their tableside or as a firefighter.
