<p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">HAMPTON, VA. (Oct. 18, 2014) &#8212; The Hampton Police Division has arrested James Thomas Curry in connection with two sexual assault incidents that occurred on October 11 &; 15, 2014.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">Police say that on October 15, 2014, at 3:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to the library located in the 4200 block of Victoria Boulevard in reference to a sexual assault complaint. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">The investigation revealed that the victim, a 14-year-old Hampton male juvenile, was at the Hampton Public Library when he was approached by an unknown suspect where the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim in the restroom. Further investigation indicated that on October 11, 2014, the victim was walking in the 300 block of South Back River Road when the same suspect approached the victim and allegedly sexually assaulted him.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">The victim did not initially report the first assault because he allegedly feared for his safety.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">James Thomas Curry, a 47-year-old Hampton man with a last known address in the 800 block of LaSalle Avenue has been identified in connection with this incident. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">Hampton Police report that Curry has been arrested and charged with three counts of Indecent Liberties with a Minor, one count of Object Sexual Penetration and three counts of Forcible Sodomy. He remains in custody at the Hampton City Jail.</span></p>

<h1>Police have identified a suspect in armed robbery of 7-Eleven</h1>
<p>HAMPTON, VA. &#8212; The Hampton Police Division has identified two individuals in connection with a robbery that occurred on October 7, 2014.</p>
<p>At 3:02 a.m., Hampton Police officers responded to the 7-eleven located in the 1st block of Beach Road for a robbery from business. The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the business; displayed a firearm and demanded U.S. Currency. After receiving an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency the suspect fled from the business in a vehicle which was driven by a second suspect. There were no patrons inside of the business at the time of the incident and no employees were injured.</p>
<p>The Hampton Police Division has arrested a 17-year-old Hampton male juvenile and charged him with one count of robbery and one count of Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony. He remains in custody. The second individual identified in connection with this incident has been identified as <strong>Cole Alexander Martin</strong>, a 19-year-old Newport News man that resides in the 700 block of Kensington Drive.</p>
<p>He has warrants on file for one count of Robbery, one count of Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, one count of Burglary while Armed and one count of Wearing a Mask in Public. He should be considered Armed and Dangerous.</p>

<h1><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Cambria; font-size: x-large;">Cops: his aim was to maim</span></h1>
<p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">The Hampton Police Division has arrested Deonte Piper in connection with a maiming that occurred on October 13, 2014.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">At 9:35 p.m., Public Safety Communications received a complaint of a stabbing that occurred in the Sentara Careplex parking lot. Upon officer’s arrival, they located the victim, a 23-year-old Hampton man, that was being treated inside the Careplex for non-life threatening injures.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">The investigation revealed that a verbal argument took place in the parking lot of the Careplex between the suspect and two other known individuals. During altercation, the suspect physically assaulted a 24-year-old Hampton woman. Afterwards the suspect displayed a knife and stabbed the male victim two times. The suspect then fled the area on foot. Shortly thereafter, the suspect was located in the immediate area and was taken into custody without further incident.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">Deonte Piper, a 24-year-old Hampton man has been arrested in connection with this incident. He has been charged with one count of Aggravated Malicious Wounding and one count of Domestic</span></p>
