Dover Police take note of ‘undocumented shoppers’ ripping off area stores

<div id&equals;"id&lowbar;540b34c6baf199967626174" class&equals;"text&lowbar;exposed&lowbar;root text&lowbar;exposed"><strong><em>FROM THE DOVER POLICE DEPARTMENT&colon;<&sol;em><&sol;strong><&sol;div>&NewLine;<div class&equals;"text&lowbar;exposed&lowbar;root text&lowbar;exposed">The Dover Police Department responded to a total of 16 shoplifting complaints between Noon on Thursday&comma; August 28th and Noon on Thursday&comma; September September 4th&period; This week saw a decrease of 10 complaints compared to the same time period in last weeks post&period; Of the 16 shoplifting complaints&comma; 8 resulted in arrests of the suspects involved&comma; 3 businesses declined prosecution&comma; 2 of them are still und<span class&equals;"text&lowbar;exposed&lowbar;show">er investigation without identified suspects&comma; and no crime was confirmed in the other 3 cases&period; There were no juvenile arrests for shoplifting in this time period&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Currently Wanted Suspects&colon;<br &sol;>&NewLine;As shown in the image&comma; two of the suspects pictured are currently wanted&period; The first&comma; Alexis Overstreet&lpar;23&rpar;&comma; is wanted for Theft by False Pretense&period; Overstreet shoplifted &dollar;79&period;98 worth of merchandise from Boscov’s and returned to the store and fraudulently returned the items&comma; getting the cash value for them&period; As of this release&comma; Overstreet has not been arrested&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The second wanted suspect is Michael Foskey &lpar;21&rpar;&period; Foskey attempted to steal an XBOX One Controller valued at &dollar;59&period;99 from SEARS in the Dover Mall&period; When loss prevention employees attempted to apprehend Foskey&comma; he fled from them&period; Loss prevention employees grabbed at Foskey’s backpack and Foskey let it go&comma; continuing to flee the area&period; Arriving Dover Police Officers checked the backpack and found the game controller as well as personal mail from a state agency&period; When officers ran Foskey’s name&comma; they were able to positively identify him as the suspect based on witness accounts and video surveillance compared to his photos on file from previous arrests&period; Foskey also has six capias’ for his arrest along with an additional shoplifting warrant from Milford&comma; DE Police Department<&sol;span><&sol;div>&NewLine;<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;the-chesapeake&period;com&sol;&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2014&sol;09&sol;Dovers-undocumented-shoppers&period;jpg"><img class&equals;"alignleft size-full wp-image-5773" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;the-chesapeake&period;com&sol;&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2014&sol;09&sol;Dovers-undocumented-shoppers&period;jpg" alt&equals;"Dover's undocumented shoppers" width&equals;"960" height&equals;"740" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
