FREDERICK, MD.Β — 08/23/2014Β — According to Frederick Police on 8-20-14 at about 11:15 PM, members of the Frederick Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit were on routine patrol in the area of West Patrick St and Hoke Place when an officer observed a vehicle make a traffic violation. After stopping the vehicle, a police K9 alerted to the odor of a controlled dangerous substance emanating from the vehicle.
The three occupants of the vehicle all received charges. They were:
1. Trevor Allen Frazier, passenger, 10/30/1994, 1100 block Keswick Place, possession of marijuana less than 10 grams
2. Clayton McKennerly Cherry, passenger, 9/7/1992, 600 block Himes Avenue, possession of synthetic cannabinoid
3. Anthony Lamont Carroll, driver, 12/16/1993, 1700 block Heather Lane, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
Frazier and Cherry were issued criminal citations and released from the scene. Carroll was taken to Central Booking to see a District Court Commissioner. The attached photos are in order.
