Commercial Burglary Arrests – Brooklyn Park
Brooklyn Park, Md. — Anne Arundel Police note that alert officers nabbed a gang of teen burglars and leading them was allegedly a bozo who can’t use juvenile laws to save his hide. Shane Michael McGovern was captured along with his teeny-bopper future criminals of America.
On August 6, 2014, at approximately 10:25 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded for an alarm at Rose’s store located in the 5100 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park.
While checking the business, the initial responding officer saw several suspects run from the rear of the building. The rear door of the business was found open and merchandise was located outside the store. Officers immediately set up a perimeter and were able to quickly locate and apprehend three of the five suspects. A fourth suspect was then arrested a short time later.
Three of the four suspects were juveniles to include a 13-year-old male, 14-year-old male and 15-year-old male from Brooklyn Park. All were charged with the burglary.
