She is identified as Faith Janee Lee of Chaptico, Maryland. The next of kin have been notified. Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
MADDOX, MD. St. Mary's Sheriff's Department reports that on June 15, 2014 at approximately 2:00 PM, the 11-year-old female who went missing on 6-13-14 while swimming in the Wicomico River was located, deceased, along the shore near Newburg in Charles County, Maryland.
