ROCK HALL, Md. (AP/WJLA) – Police with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources say two men are dead following a boating accident near Kent Island in the Chesapeake Bay.
Police have identified the two as Joshua Jon Rediger, 22, of Chester, and Robert Taylor Morelli, 23, of Stevensville.
Radio station WNEW-FM reports the two men left Kent Island in a 12-foot boat around 7 p.m. Friday. The two spent the night at Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge in Rock Hall and left there Saturday morning.
Police say the men had been expected back around 10 a.m. Police located their boat around 11 a.m. and found the bodies of the two men in the water sometime after.
