<p class="title with-author"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em><strong> DNR Regional Service Centers Will Be Closed Friday</strong></em></span> Did you forget to order your boat stickers yet and were planning to go by a DNR service center to pick them up on Friday so you would be legal for the holiday weekend? The O&#8217;Malley Administration, in a clear swipe at the public they are supposed to be serving picked FRIDAY &#8212; the day before the Memorial Day weekend, to close the service centers for a SERVICE REDUCTION DAY&#8230;. in spite of hiking every damn tax and fee that exists over the past 8 years. <em><strong>Anyone who knows the Governor&#8217;s cell phone number, send it in, we&#8217;ll be glad to publish it.</strong></em> <i><strong>DNR Parks and Lands will Remain Open</strong> </i>All Maryland Department of Natural Resources offices will be closed Friday, May 23 for a Service Reduction Day. <em><strong>This includes regional service centers, which are historically busy on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend</strong></em>. DNR asks all boaters to plan accordingly, and register their boats early. Anglers can purchase fishing licenses online 24/7 at <a href="http://www.dnr.state.md.us/service/license.asp">dnr.state.md.us/service/license.asp</a> or by phone at 1-855-855-3906. Maryland State Parks and other public lands managed by DNR will remain staffed and open to the public.
