<p>COUPLE CHARGED WITH SELLING DRUGS FROM HOME<br />
WALDORF &#8212; According to Charles County Sheriff Rex Coffey, for the second time this year, narcotics detectives with the Charles County Sheriff’s Office have arrested the same two people in connection with distributing drugs. Peter Nikolai, 30, and his wife, Kristen, 24, were arrested last week after detectives completed a recent investigation in which the Nikolai’s were suspected of dealing marijuana from their house in the 6200 block of Panther Court in Waldorf. </p>
<p>Investigators served a search warrant on Aug. 20 and found $4200.00 worth of marijuana, distribution paraphernalia, suspected black tar heroin, various prescription medications, and more than $1,000 in cash. The Nikolai’s were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Investigators also seized their two cars. </p>
<p>In January, Peter and Kristen (who was charged under the name Kristen Stockman at that time), were charged with selling drugs out of the same house after detectives received a tip from Charles County Crime Solvers of alleged drug dealing. At that time, investigators found plastic bottles, plastic bags, and other containers filled with marijuana. Labeled with names like “Pineapple Express,” “Bubbadaddy,” “Lemon Haze,” “Strawberry Cough,” and “Motherlode,” the suspects sold the drugs to their customers from their car and home. Detectives also seized $5,000 in cash, drug paraphernalia, two guns and a Dodge Charger in that case. </p>
<p>Sheriff Rex W. Coffey said the community and Crime Solvers once again played an important role in the arrests. “No one wants these types of activities going on in their neighborhood, so we’re encouraged people are calling in the tips, no matter how many times someone gets arrested. I can assure you that each and every time we receive a tip, we will follow through. It may take some time to finish up an investigation and to prepare a case for prosecution, but we will do our part in taking crime out of our communities.” </p>
