<h2 class="mceTemp mceIEcenter">Smacking the cop, kicking the cooler and other dumb stuff in Hermanville</h2>

<p>HERMANVILLE, MD. – Brains? Who ordered brains? There is equality in this great land and those who want to be granted their every wish of mayhem and music need to start their own band&#8230;and keep the lid on the noise.<br />
Police say that on April 13, 2014 at 8:45PM, Corporal Watters responded to a residence on Hermanville Road in Lexington Park for a noise complaint. Corporal Watters requested the music be turned down. Initailly, subjects complied and made an announcement for everyone to leave. However, as Corporal Watters walked toward his car to leave the large crowd became unruly by yelling profanity and turning up the music. Additional deputies were requested to respond. Members of the crowd began to throw beer bottles at Corporal Watters. At that time, suspect <strong>LaShonda Lakeshia Dyson, 29, of Great Mills</strong>, kicked a cooler containing ice and canned drinks at Corporal Watters, which struck him in the leg. LaShonda Dyson then returned to the large crowd. Deputies arrived on the scene, located LaShonda Dyson, and attempted to place her under arrest. La Shonda Dyson resisted arrest by pulling away from Deputy Lance. She then fell to the ground and refused to walk. As Deputy Lance escorted LaShonda Dyson to his police car, she turned and spat in his face. While deputies were attempting to gain control of LaShonda Dyson, suspect <strong>Shaun Darnell Dyson, 33, of Lexington Park</strong>, became enraged and struck a door to the residence with his fist. Shaun Dyson was placed under arrest.<br />
Both suspects were transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. LaShonda Dyson was charged with 2<sup>nd</sup> Degree Assault and Resisting Arrest. Shaun Dyson was charged with Property Destruction and Disorderly Conduct.</p>
<h2>Not giving a hoot about a Judge&#8217;s order to stay away and other paths to success</h2>
<p>LEXINGTON PARK, MD. – St. Mary&#8217;s Sheriff Tim Cameron reports the arrest of a man who allegedly violated a court order to stay the hell away from a applicant for a court order to keep the man the hell away and &#8230;. well, here is the rest of the story. On April 13, 2014, Deputy Cole was patrolling in the area of Spinnaker Circle in Lexington Park, when he observed the victim seated in a vehicle at the victim’s residence. Deputy Cole then saw suspect, <strong>Bobby Raymond Davis, 28, of Lexington Park</strong>, standing in front of the same residence. When Davis saw Deputy Cole he fled on foot. Deputy Cole determined Davis was at the residence in violation of an active protective order. He located Davis and placed him under arrest. Davis was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Protective Order Violation.</p>

<p>LEXINGTON PARK, MD. – St. Mary&#8217;s County Sheriff Tim Cameron reports that on April 13, 2014, Deputy Harris made contact with a victim who alleged suspect <strong>Francis Xavier Jones, 28, of Lexington Park</strong>, contacted the victim in violation of an active peace order. The investigation revealed Jones created a fake Facebook account and used it to contact with victim. Jones was located and placed under arrest. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Peace Order: Fail to Comply.</p>

<p><em><strong>Strangled, tangled and kept prisoner</strong></em><br />
CALIFORNIA, MD. – Police report that a suspect allegedly held a victim prisoner in a bedroom for hours and battered the victim with a glass container prior to administering a good choking. On April 12, 2014, Deputy Fennessey responded to a residence on Town Creek Drive for a reported assault. The victim alleged suspect <strong>Darius Devaughn Gross, 21, of California</strong>, struck the victim in the head with a glass container and strangled the victim with his hands during an argument. The victim then attempted to leave the bedroom for several hours; however Gross continued to restrain the victim. Eventually, the victim was able to exit the room only to be followed by Gross. The victim then called 9 1 1 and Gross fled the scene. Deputy Fennessey observed several injuries on the victim consistent with the assault. Deputies attempted to locate Gross for several hours without success. At 10:15AM the same day, Deputy Fennessey observed Gross in the passenger seat of a vehicle traveling east on Great Mills Road. Deputy Fennessey stopped the vehicle and placed Gross under arrest without incident. Gross was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with 1<sup>st</sup> and 2<sup>nd</sup> Degree Assault and False Imprisonment.</p>
