I just want everyone to know that it is looking like Mr. Woodburn will be charged. In St. Mary&#8217;s County Maryland animal cruelty is a felony. If he is found guilty of a felony he will NEVER be allowed to own a gun legally again! That would be great. We still want as many signatures as possible so lets keep it going so that we are able to show a lot of support&#8230;. Thanks again to everyone!</p>

On March 12 2014, I took my little cousin home after she got off work&#8230; she was worried cause her baby had gotten away from the person who was watching him, but she had just bought a new runner and was going to put it up as soon as we found him&#8230;. before we got to her house, a neighbor named Kenny Woodburn shot Tank and then afterwards he posted a picture of it on Facebook like a trophy&#8230;.Tank was shot in his side (the side that was facing the house that he was heading away from) and then shot in the head&#8230;. To me that just proves that the dog was shot as he was trying to exit the area&#8230;. Not only did Mr. Woodburn shoot a puppy (yes Tank had just turned 1 in March) but he also resides next door to a daycare. The direction that he shot was the same direction as the daycare&#8230;.The outcome that day was very sad but could have been worse&#8230;.I am asking for support in having this person charged with any and all charges possible especially endangering a child&#8217;s (or children&#8217;s life).</p>

<p>Maryland: Kenneth Woodburn was not only loaded and DWI but he was ready for an African Safari &#8211;<br />
<strong><em>Woodburn may have set a record for being a bad ass in DWI arrest</em></strong><br />
GREAT MILLS, MD. — 2013-10-16 —According to St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Sgt. Cara Grumbles, a driver who had been the subject of a lookout for a drunk driver with a gun was stopped by a deputy.<br />
Police say that on October 13, 2013, the Emergency Communications Center broadcast a lookout for a vehicle being driven by a male subject armed with a gun in the area of Flat Iron Road in Great Mills, Maryland.<br />
Corporal Connelly located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. After observing the driver, identified as Kenneth Allen Woodburn, 29, of Ridge, Maryland, Corporal Connelly suspected Woodburn of driving under the influence of alcohol. Woodburn failed to satisfactorily complete field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest.<br />
Corporal Connelly then searched Woodburn and found a smoking device containing suspected marijuana residue. During a search of Woodburn’s vehicle, four (4) firearms were located.<br />
One of the firearms appeared to be a long gun modified to appear and function as a handgun. Woodburn was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center by Corporal Connelly.
