</em></span></strong>CENTREVILLE, MD. &#8212;2014-04-10 &#8212; Queen Anne County Sheriff&#8217;s officers say that a citizen reported seeing a male subject hide a small backpack in the bushes near the Queen Anne County Circuit Court at about 10 am on April 8, 2014. Police say that<strong> Cpl. Phil English</strong> located the bag and found several documents in the name of <strong>Aaron Nathaniel Hines</strong>, a resident of Stevensville, Md. Also in the backpack was a baggie of suspected marijuana and a small scale.<br />
Hines was in Circuit Court and as he went to exit, Deputies attempted to detain him. Hines fled the courthouse with several deputies in pursuit. With the assistance of Centreville Police, Hines was taken into custody in between a nearby convenience store and the <strong>Alcohol &; Drug Abuse Center.</strong><br />
<strong>WEED DEED:</strong> A further search of the backpack located an additional baggie of suspected marijuana and paraphernalia.<br />
Hines was charged with Possession of CDS, Possession with intent to distribute CDS, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest, and Fleeing &; Eluding. Hines was held on a $20,000 bail.<br />
Assisting in the smackdown and chase as Hines beat feet through the middle of town were: <strong><strong>Lt. C. Meil, Deputy R. Fleming, Chief C. Rhodes, Deputy D. Walls.</strong></strong></p>
