Apple IPods from the shelf and use a device to remove the magnetic housing&period; She then handed the IPods to a male subject who placed both IPods into the back pockets of his jeans&period; Neither subject had money or means of paying for the merchandise&period; Deputy Flerlage made contact with the subject who identified himself as James brown&period; As Deputy Flerlage returned to the residence to speak with the complainant&comma; the subject fled on foot into a wooded area&period; He was subsequently apprehended by Corporal Connelly&period; Corporal Connelly recognized the subject to be Shawn Michael Miles&comma; 21&comma; of no fixed address and not James Brown&period; Miles had been issued a notice not to trespass for the complainant’s residence on May 23&comma; Police say that on September 21&comma; 2013&comma; Deputy Lacey Johnson of the Patrol Division responded to an address in Lexington Park&comma; Maryland after the victim reported a domestic disturbance&period; During a dispute&comma; the suspect&comma; who resides with the victim&comma; pushed the victim and struck the victim with a cat scratcher on the side of the face&period; Deputy Johnson observed evidence of fresh injury on the side of the victim’s face&period; The suspect&comma; identified as Nicole Marie Grannis&comma; 32&comma; of Lexington Park&comma; Maryland&comma; was placed under arrest and transported to the St&period; Mary’s County Detention Center&period; Maryland after the Emergency Communications Center received a report of shots being fired in that area&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Deputy Bowen observed a Honda Accord operating in the area without the headlights on&period; Deputy Bowen stopped the vehicle and detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Corporal Rishel responded and conducted a scan of the vehicle with his K9 partner&period; The K9 alerted positively to the driver’s side area for presence of a controlled dangerous substance&period; A search of the driver’s side door pocket revealed a plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance consistent with cocaine&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The driver&comma; Maryland&comma; say police&comma; after having been escorted from the property by police and told to leave by the victim&period; Daniels returned to the victim’s residence once more and was placed under arrest by Deputy Vezzosi of the Patrol Division&period; Daniels was intoxicated at the time of his arrest&period; He was transported to the St&period; Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Trespassing&colon; Private Property&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Bra-borne illness detected at slammer for lady of loud<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> LEXINGTON PARK &&num;8212&semi; Police report that on September 22&comma; 2013&comma; Deputy Vezzosi responded to an address in Lexington Park&comma; Maryland for a disturbance&period; Witnesses at the residence reported suspect Denise Lee-Nora Strain&comma; 50&comma; of Lexington Park&comma; Maryland was intoxicated and banging on the windows and doors&period; Deputy Vezzosi contacted Strain in the area and she began yelling at him as well as the witnesses&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;She was told numerous times to stop yelling and leave the area – she refused&period; The residence was located inside an apartment complex&period; Strain’s actions began to disturb the nearby apartment residents&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Deputy Vezzosi placed Strain under arrest and she was transported to the St&period; Mary’s County Detention Center&period; During a search of Strain’s person conducted by detention center staff&comma; a small bag containing suspected cocaine was found in her bra and a smoking device with residue was found in her underwear&period; Maryland observed a male subject&comma; later identified as Michael Wayne Dement&comma; 56&comma; of Mechanicsville&comma; Maryland near the entrance doors of the store with several items of merchandise in a cart&period; He was confronted by store employees but continued to the front doors to exit&period; When one of the employees told Dement he knew he was trying to steal the items&comma; Dement left the cart with its contents and walked to a vehicle&period; The value of the stolen items in the cart was over &dollar;650&period;00&period; Dement was gone on the arrival of Patrol Deputy Bankhead&comma; however with the description provided by store employees of the suspect and the vehicle he was operating&comma; Deputy Bankhead believed the suspect to be Dement&period; A short time later&comma; Dement was located operating a pick-up truck&comma; displaying a Maryland registration plate and a North Carolina registration plate&comma; in the area of Route 235 and Jone’s Warf Road in Hollywood&comma; Maryland by Corporal Malleto&period; Dement was placed under arrest and transported to the St&period; Mary’s County Detention Center&period; LEXINGTON PARK &&num;8212&semi; Police report that on September 21&comma; 2013&comma; the victim was standing in front of his house located in Lexington Park&comma; Maryland talking to a neighbor&period; Suddenly&comma; suspect Andrew Eugene Robinson&comma; 30&comma; of Lexington Park&comma; Maryland ran up to the victim and poked the victim in the chest with a tire iron&period; Robinson then punched the victim in the face with his fist&period; Robinson was located by Deputy James Shomper and placed under arrest&period; He was transported to the St&period; Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Assault&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Cooper found new coop in slammer<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> LEONARDTOWN &&num;8212&semi; Police say that on September 22&comma; 2013&comma; Walter Dennis Cooper&comma; 30&comma; of Hollywood&comma; Maryland was escorted from the Fairgrounds property located in Leonardtown&comma; Maryland after he caused a disturbance with ride workers at the annual St&period; Mary’s County Fair&period; Cooper was told not to return to the property by Patrol Corporal Somerville&period; A short time later&comma; Cooper was found at the fair on the property by Corporal Somerville&period; 2013&comma; Deputy Phelan of the Patrol Division responded to a residence located in Charlotte Hall&comma; Maryland for a theft of prescription medication&period; The complainant reported oxycodone pills prescribed to her daughter were missing&period; Deputy Phelan interviewed a houseguest of the complainant identified as James Matthew Goldsmith&comma; 38&comma; of Prince Frederick&comma; Maryland&period; While speaking with Goldsmith&comma; Deputy Phelan observed him to appear nervous and placing his hands inside of his pockets despite requests not to do so&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;After obtaining consent to search his person&comma; Deputy Phelan located oxycodone pills&comma; &lpar;in packaging described by the complainant&rpar;&comma; inside Goldsmith’s pockets&period; Goldsmith was also wanted on an outstanding warrant through the Charles County Sheriff’s Office&period;
