<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;the-chesapeake&period;com&sol;&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2013&sol;09&sol;Joseph-Taylor-Brown&period;jpg"><img src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;the-chesapeake&period;com&sol;&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2013&sol;09&sol;Joseph-Taylor-Brown-150x150&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" title&equals;"Joseph Taylor Brown" width&equals;"150" height&equals;"150" class&equals;"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-2303" &sol;><&sol;a>Joseph Taylor Brown&comma; 69 of Tall Timbers&comma; MD died August 30&comma; 2013 at his residence&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Born February 26&comma; 1944 in Urbanna&comma; VA&comma; he was the son of the late Frank Hansel Brown and Mary &lpar;Taylor&rpar; Brown&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Joseph served his apprenticeship in Printing at the Richmond-Times Dispatch in Richmond&comma; VA&period; He then went to work for the Washington Post Newspaper in DC and retired in 2000&period; He was a proud member of the International Typographical Union&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Joseph&&num;8217&semi;s hobby since high school was carpentry and he was one of the finest&period; After retiring&comma; he built a beautiful new home&period; This being the fourth home he had built&period; After the home was completed&comma; he worked with Mike Momaugh &lpar;Paragon Properties&rpar; as a carpenter&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Joseph was a talented&comma; intelligent man&comma; but also very humble&period; He never said a bad word about anybody and everyone that knew him loved him&period; He was generous&comma; considerate and kind&comma; and always willing to help someone&period; He loved his family&comma; and enjoyed traveling&comma; fishing and crabbing&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Joseph left behind many friends and family who loved him and enjoyed his company&period; He was a special man&comma; one of the good guys&comma; and his absence will be felt by many&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Joseph is survived by his loving wife&comma; Dolores &&num;8220&semi;Dee&&num;8221&semi; Brown&semi; his children&comma; Joseph&comma; Tracy&comma; Michael and Michelle&semi; nine grandchildren&semi; a sister&comma; Jane Birchard&semi; a brother&comma; Howard &&num;8220&semi;Thames&&num;8221&semi; Brown and his wife Mary Ellen&semi; and brother-in-law&comma; George Wrightson&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine; Joseph was preceded in death by his brother&comma; Frank &&num;8220&semi;Hansel&&num;8221&semi; Brown&comma; Jr&period; and his sister&comma; Mildred Wrightson&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Memorial services by Pastor Ed Inabinet will begin at 11&colon;00 a&period;m&period; on Saturday&comma; September 14&comma; 2013 at the Middlesex Memorial Cemetery in Urbanna&comma; VA&period; A luncheon will follow at the Methodist Church in Urbanna&comma; VA&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of St&period; Mary&&num;8217&semi;s&comma; P&period;O&period; Box 625&comma; Leonardtown&comma; MD 20650&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Condolences to the family may be made at www&period;brinsfieldfuneral&period;com&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Arrangements by the Brinsfield Funeral Home&comma; P&period;A&period;&comma; Leonardtown&comma; MD&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
