<p>Gary Lee Printz&comma; Jr&period;&comma; 45&comma; of Chesapeake Beach&comma; MD passed away August 22&comma; 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family&period; He was born July 29&comma; 1968 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring&comma; MD to Gary Lee and Sandra Ruth &lpar;Davis&rpar; Printz&period; Gary was raised in Montgomery&comma; Prince George’s and Charles Counties and graduated from Lackey High School in 1986&period; He joined the Plumbers Local 5 in Washington D&period;C&period;&comma; where he entered the apprenticeship program&comma; graduating in June 1993 as the Valedictorian of his class&period; Gary was employed as a journeyman plumber with W&period;F&period; Collins&period; He also was an instructor at the apprenticeship school and in 2004 became the director of the program&period; He married Shawna Kae Ellis on February 15&comma; 1992 and they made their home in Chesapeake Beach&period; Gary was very involved in the Boy Scouts with his sons as a Scoutmaster for Troop 426 in Prince Frederick&period; He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting&comma; fishing&comma; and camping&period; In recent years he became interested in primitive archery&comma; making his own bows and arrows&period; He was also a car enthusiast&comma; especially muscle cars and hot rods&period; Most of all&comma; Gary loved spending time with his family&comma; especially his children and his nieces and nephew&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Gary is survived by his loving wife Shawna K&period; Printz and children Gary L&period; III&comma; Amanda K&period;&comma; Jesse B&period; and Vanessa R&period; Printz&comma; all of Chesapeake Beach&comma; MD&period; Also surviving are his parents Gary L&comma; Sr&period; and Sandie Printz of Huntingtown&comma; MD&semi; a brother Jason Printz&comma; and two nieces and a nephew&comma; all of Dunkirk&comma; MD&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Memorial Service<br &sol;>&NewLine;Wednesday&comma; August 28&comma; 2013<br &sol;>&NewLine;12&colon;00 PM <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Rausch Funeral Home &&num;8211&semi; Owings<br &sol;>&NewLine;8325 Mount Harmony Lane<br &sol;>&NewLine;Owings MD 20736 <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>National Brain Tumor Society <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>55 Chapel Street&comma; Suite 200<br &sol;>&NewLine;Newton MD 02458<br &sol;>&NewLine;Phone &colon; 617-924-9997<br &sol;>&NewLine;website&colon; http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;braintumor&period;org <&sol;p>&NewLine;
