DWI HIT PARADE: Maryland trooper hit for second time on a DUI traffic arrest; boozing bozos set new records for DUI crash in one weekend

In Howard County, a motorcyclist attempted to drive between two vehicles while traveling east on I-70 at Rt. 29 shortly before noon yesterday. He lost control and was ejected from his motorcycle. The investigation indicates he was driving impaired. When a friend of his, also driving a motorcycle, stopped at the scene of the crash, he was arrested by troopers for operating under the influence.

As Trooper Evans approached the driver’s side window, an unyielding odor of alcohol was detected. Further investigation led troopers to the arrest of Laciny for suspected impaired driving. A further search of the vehicle revealed four loaded handguns almost 800 prescription pills.
