Governor Larry Hogan today announced the start of a study that will identify the location and explore potential funding options for a new Chesapeake Bay crossing. The $5 million “Tier 1 National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)” Study, which was voted on and approved by the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Board last week, will begin this fall and take up to 48 months to complete.

Milton Police Beat / Long ran from flatfoots and left his five kids behind; turned self in after lookout
Having heard the children’s cries, Milton Police did not chase Mr. Long on foot. Instead they tended to the children’s needs with neighbors until their mother arrived. Backup officers did check the area but were unable to locate Mr. Long.
The suspect is described by police as a light-skinned or African American male in his late 20’s or early 30’s with a medium build.
