NEAVITT, MD. — Just as multiple cases of watermen stealing from oyster sanctuaries were entering the criminal and civil courts across Maryland last year; the treasurer for the Watermen’s Association was allegedly bilking the group for up to $100,000, says the Maryland State Police.

Princess Anne Police Beat: pedestrian struck on U. S. 13; woman cited for crash into parked vehicle in front of church
On 7-15-15, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Beverly Romaine Fountain, 52, of Princess Anne Maryland with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash. The charge stemmed from a hit and run crash investigation that occurred at the Mt Carmel Baptist Church located at 30683 Hampden Avenue. Investigation revealed that Fountain was driving a vehicle when she collided into a vehicle that was parked along Hampden Avenue in front of the church

MARDELA SPRINGS, MD. — Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis reports the arrest of two men who managed to smile for the camera when they broke into a home. The advent of inexpensive cameras for use at catching nannies smacking kids or deer walking on trails is also spreading to homes everywhere that burglars like to rob.
