ST. LEONARD, MD. After a long day of Christmas shoplifting in Prince Frederick, the weary but determined members of Maryland’s criminal class continued on their merry way to spread joy to their loved ones with stolen gifts, when what to their wondering eyes should appear but a Maryland State Trooper with a Cruiser-Sleigh powered by 350 Deer-power! He whipped out his cuffs and went straight to his work and then he cast off his hat and turned to the jerks: “You are off to the slammer where you’ll be given a cot and on top of that, you’ll get three hots!”

Odenton, Md. — Anne Arundel Police had their hands full of wildcats at Arundel High School. Police say that on December 19, 2014, at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers responded to assist the School Resource Officer at Arundel High School, located at 1001 Annapolis Road, Gambrills, MD in reference to a large fight that had broken out. This fight occurred during “Wildcat Hour” near the school cafeteria.
“Today our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of a kind, gentle soul,” said Charles County Sheriff Troy D. Berry in an announcement. The Sheriff said the entire agency is saddened to announce the death of Patrolman First Class Jamel Clagett, 30, who died in a motor vehicle crash this morning on Route 218 in King George, Virginia.
Paramedics and school officials credited Cpl. Benn with saving the man’s life.
“I was not surprised at all to learn of Cpl. Benn’s decisive actions and could not be more proud of him,” said Chief Gary L. Gardner, noting Cpl. Benn earlier this year earned the department’s Outstanding Community Service Award for 2014. “He is a true example of our outstanding members, who are trained to act quickly in any situation.”
