Inmate charged with running drug ring while in St. Mary’s County jail; Buckler and Meador popped with pills

According to St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron, the inmates are running a drug ring from inside his jail.

Detectives received information that an inmate at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center was distributing pills while out on work release. The investigation led detectives to Charles County, where detectives partnered with members of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division. The two agencies worked together as the investigation continued, it was discovered that the inmate was operating a drug distribution network from his place of employment in the Hughesville area.

Robert Edward Bailey III dead after hitting curb and guardrail with his motorcycle

LANHAM, MD. — 07/02/2014 — The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle collision in Lanham.

The victim is 56-year-old Robert Edward Bailey, III, of Cambridge Park Court in Silver Spring.

Fatal Pedestrian Collision at Soccer Game in Silver Spring

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Collision Reconstruction Unit continue to investigate a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred last night (Tuesday, July 1) at approximately 8:32 p.m.

On June 30, 2014 at approximately 8:32 p.m., officers responded to the parking lot of Eastern Middle School, located at 300 University Boulevard E. in Silver Spring, for a pedestrian collision. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the operator of a 2008 Ford Focus was driving in the rear parking lot of the school. For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle left the parking lot.

Prince George Police report that they have issued a violation notice to the owners of Hangar Club ordering their business closed on June 27, 2014.

The Hangar Club is in the 6400 block of Old Branch Avenue in Temple Hills. The business was found operating without the required use and occupancy permit.
