Detective R. Merritt determined injuries were caused by a relative of the victim. The six-week-old-victim began to display signs of injury after being cared for by the relative.

LEONARDTOWN, MD. (Sept. 2, 2014) — St. Mary’s Sheriff’s deputies have placed fresh charges of burglary against a pair of local miscreants who both have long records of arrests and equally long records of dropped charges by St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz.
Police report that on June 28, 2014, Sheriff’s Office patrol units responded to a private residence on St. Jerome’s Neck Rd. in Dameron, Maryland, for the report of a burglary. Deputies determined unknown culprit(s) forced entry to the victim’s residence by breaking a window and stole various property belonging to the victim.

Police say that on April 13, 2014 at 8:45PM, Corporal Watters responded to a residence on Hermanville Road in Lexington Park for a noise complaint. Corporal Watters requested the music be turned down. Initially, subjects complied and made an announcement for everyone to leave. However, as Corporal Watters walked toward his car to leave the large crowd became unruly by yelling profanity and turning up the music. Additional deputies were requested to respond.
