Anne Arundel Police Beat: Cops nab suspect who broke into motel room and robbed patron at knife-point

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 65-year-old male victim who reported than an unknown male suspect threw a rock through the window of his hotel room, shattering the glass, and then climbed through the broken window, demanding money from the victim. When the victim hesitated, the suspect pulled out a knife and held it to threaten the victim. The victim then turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who fled towards the front of the hotel property on Annapolis Road.

On scene officers learned that the victim, an 84-year-old male delivery driver from Pizza Hut, was attempting to make a delivery outside of a residence when three male suspects surrounded him. INDIAN HEAD, MD. (Sept. 17, 2014) — Charles County Sheriff’s investigators assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division arrested Richard Cecil Anno, 24, of Indian Head in connection with the robbery of the PNC bank that occurred on August 25 on North Prospect Avenue in Indian Head. Through investigation, detectives report that they developed information that linked Anno to the case.

Annapolis Police Beat: Bryan Ira Summers charged with armed robbery of eldery couple in home invasion

On Tuesday police report that through the course of the investigation detectives were able to identify a suspect. On September 8, 2014 Bryan Ira Summers was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery, Robbery, Assault First Degree, Assault Second Degree, Burglary First Degree, Burglary Third Degree, Handgun on a person, Use of a Firearm to commit a Felony/Violent Crime and Theft under $10,000. Bryan Ira Summers was committed to the Anne Arundel County Detention Center on a Bond.

Prince William Police Beat: Puppy Killer – Breaking up was fatal for couple’s pets; animal cruelty

At that point, the victim stated she witnessed the accused use a kitchen knife to stab her dog. Officers checked the home and located an adult male pit bull deceased with a stab wound to its back.

Police Officers also located two, 2-week old pit bull puppies, one of which was also deceased and the other was critically injured. Both puppies appeared to have sustained blunt force trauma.

The injured puppy was immediately taken to an area animal hospital for treatment.
