Anne Arundel Police Beat: Big Guy Went for Gold; Bandit Opted for Booze with Store’s Cash

Cops seek MR. BIG in jewelry store heist

Pasadena, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police report on a big boost of jewelry from a Pasadena store and have launched a net to catch MR. BIG.

On August 11, 2014 at approximately 4:00 pm, officers responded to Sanders Jewelers located at 31 Magothy Beach Road in Pasadena, Maryland for a reported theft.

The pictured suspect, a white male approximately 6 foot tall, 300 pounds, glasses, tattoos, wearing tan shorts with a green waste management shirt and blue hat entered the business. The suspect asked permission to try on a 14 k yellow gold 8 inch Figaro bracelet. Once the male put the bracelet on, he fled the business without paying. Once outside, the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
