MURDER USA A large black coffee and a coroner’s van for the man shot and bleeding to death at the table for two by the window

Stephan Hayes charged with felony attempted murder on June 28, 2017, Norfolk Police Dept

NORFOLK, VA. – The Norfolk Police Department reports that Norfolk detectives have formally charged a man with injuring another man inside a local McDonald’s on June 28, 2017.

The incident occurred around 9 a.m. inside the McDonald’s located at 2328 E. Princess Anne Road.  When police arrived, they found a 38-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was quickly taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to be okay.

At the scene, police detained Stephan Hayes, 53, of the 2000 block of E. Virginia Beach Boulevard. 

Wednesday afternoon, Hayes was formally charged by detectives with malicious wounding, and use of a firearm.  He is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail.

There were no other injuries reported.
