LANGLEY PARK, MD. — The Prince Georges County Police report that the Homicide Unit arrested and charged two suspects in a recent fatal shooting in Langley Park. They are 27-year-old Oscar Choc of the 8100 block of New Hampshire Avenue and 34-year-old Julio Murillo of the 8400 block of New Hampshire Avenue. They’re charged with fatally shooting 22-year-old Carlos Sanchez-Cabrera of Merrimac Drive in Langley Park.

 Police say that on June 2, 2017, at about 10:50 pm, patrol officers responded to the 8200 block of 14th Avenue for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers found the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

PG Police say that the preliminary investigation reveals the motive appears to be an on-going dispute between the suspects and victim.

Both suspects are charged with first and second-degree murder. They’re in custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
