PLEA DEALS Prosecutor Angela Alsobrooks Gives Sweet Deal to Admitted Gun-Toting Drug Dealer James Wilson Jr.

James Wilson Jr., (DOB July 1949) of 300 Jadeleaf Ave., Capitol Heights, Md., represented by attorney Keith Lee Hiller of Greenbelt, Md., was indicted of seven counts associated with his drug business in Prince George’s County Circuit Court on July 26, 2016.  Wilson faced charges of manufacturing and distributing cocaine, possession of cocaine and possessing and wearing a firearm while trafficking in narcotics.

Court records show he was indicted on July 26, 2016, and entered into a plea deal with Prince Georges County States Attorney Angela Alsobrooks on Nov. 3, 2016.

THE DEAL: Wilson waived the pre-sentence investigation as the deal his attorney cooked up with the feckless prosecutor couldn’t be any sweeter.

Before Circuit Court Judge McKee, the gun-toting drug dealer withdrew his not guilty plea and entered a plea of guilty to the first count, that of possession with the intent to distribute narcotics and also a guilty plea to possession of a gun while selling drugs.

The deal included a sentence of five years with all but two days suspended.

The deal included a sentence of five years with all but two days suspended.

Those two days were then erased when he was given credit for two days’ time served when he was first apprehended.  Alsobrooks dumped all the other charges and agreed to waive court costs as well.
