LOUDOUN COUNTY SHERIFF’S POLICE BEAT / Feb. 20, 2017, Andre M. Glenn charged with DWI in fatal crash; injured passenger – more DWI arrests and incidents

2/21/17 Sully Rd (Rt 28)/ Dulles Greenway (267) Crash: The LCSO is investigating a single vehicle crash that has taken the life of a Leesburg, Va. woman. The driver, Andre M. Glenn, 26, of Sterling, Va. was traveling north on Route 28 in a Jeep Wrangler when he struck a traffic divider. The victim and another female passenger were both thrown from the vehicle. Glenn and a male passenger remained inside the vehicle. Glenn and the male passenger were not seriously injured. The surviving female passenger was being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Glenn was charged with DUI and Driving on a Suspended License. He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center pending bond review when he is sober. The crash remains under investigation.

Kraig Troxell, the spokesman for the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department, says four people were traveling in a Jeep driving northbound on Rt. 28 just south of the Dulles Greenway when it crossed into the median and struck a divider, causing the vehicle to overturn.  
 
According to Troxell, two women were thrown from the Jeep.  One of the women was pronounced dead at the scene. The second woman was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  A third passenger, a man, was uninjured.

Feb. 20, 2017: 0004 hrs. Garver Mill Rd/ Charles Town Pike Purcellville Crash: LCSO responded to this location about a vehicle in a ditch. On the scene the Deputy made contact with a white male identified as John N. Stine IV 37, of Gainesville, Va. Stine was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication. He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond. C0170003121

2/20/17 0915 hrs. 0 Block E. Loudoun St. Round Hill DWI: LCSO responded to this location in reference to a check the welfare complainant. On the scene Deputies made contact with the subject identified as Nicholas Aguilera-Zamora, 20, of Sterling. Zamora was arrested and charged with Driving under the Influence. He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center pending a bond review when he is sober. C0170003131   

2/19/17 0254 hrs. Hamilton Station Rd/ Charles Town Pke. Hamilton DWI: LCSO made contact with a driver at this intersection. The driver was identified as Wilfredo Flores-Ruiz, 36, of Manassas, Va. Flores-Ruiz was arrested and charged with Driving under the Influence and Refusal of a Breath Test. He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond. 2/18/17 2015 hrs. Loyalty Rd/ Hannah Dr. Waterford DWI: LCSO made contact with a disabled motorist at this intersection. The driver was identified as Thomas B. Huminik, 50, of South Carolina. Huminik was arrested and charged with Driving under the Influence, Refusal of a Breath Test, and Drinking while operating a vehicle (Open Container). He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond. C0170003074  

2/18/17 0049 hrs. Harry Byrd Hwy/ Belmont Ridge Rd. Ashburn DWI: LCSO responded to this location in reference to traffic complaint. On scene the Deputy observed the suspect vehicle which was unable to maintain proper lane control. The driver was identified as Blaine P. Kirk, 51, of Leesburg. Kirk was arrested and charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol. He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond. C0170003030

2/18/17 1830 hrs. 44000 Block Milestone Sq. Ashburn Crash: LCSO responded to this location in reference to a vehicle that crashed into the embankment at this location. Deputies made contact with the driver identified as Joseph J. Harter, 30, of Ashburn. Harter was arrested and charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol. He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a secured bond. C0170003065   

2/19/17 0900 hrs. 45000 Block E. Severn Way Sterling Disorderly Conduct: LCSO responded to the Suburban Extended Stay in reference to a physical altercation in which one suspect may be armed with a firearm. Deputies located two subjects and identified them as Kameron R. Drinkuth, 19, of Sterling, Tobias Romero-Benito, 20, of Chantilly, and Martin E. Lopez, 21, of Sterling. Drinkuth was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Possession of Alcohol under the age of 21. He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond. Benito was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Possession of Alcohol under the age of 21. He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond. Lopez arrested and charged with Public Intoxication. He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond. C0170003093

2/19/17 1315 hrs. W. Maple Ave/ W. Nettle Tree Rd. Sterling Crash: LCSO responded to this location in reference to a two-vehicle crash. One driver was identified as Elbert R. Fuentes, 38, of Sterling. Fuentes was arrested and charged with Driving under the Influence and Possession of Marijuana. He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a secured bond. C0170003104    

2/18/17 21000 Block Leatherleaf Cir. Sterling Fraud: The victim stated that they were contacted by “U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services” advising that if he didn’t send money for “documents” he would be deported. Victim sent three MoneyGram’s to an address in Peru. C0170003018 2/18/17 1747 hrs. 21000 Block Dulles Town Cir. Sterling Larceny: LCSO responded to Macy’s in reference to a female suspect stealing items from the store. Deputies made contact with the suspect, identified as Sejal Naik, 36, of Chantilly. Naik was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny. She was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on an unsecured bond. C0170003067

2/18/17 2120 hrs. 21000 Block Dulles Town Cir. Sterling Larceny: LCSO responded to a store in reference to two males suspect stealing items. Deputies made contact with the suspect, one was identified as a juvenile and the other was identified Francisco A. Marquez, 19, of Sterling. Marquez was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny, Conspiracy to commit Larceny and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a secured bond. The juvenile suspect was released to the custody of their parents and charges are pending. C0170003075

2/19/17 0011 hrs. 21000 Block Leatherleaf Cir. Sterling Destruction of Property: LCSO responded to this location in reference to subjects throwing eggs at houses and cars. One suspect was detained after brief foot chase. The suspect was a juvenile and they were released to a parent. The investigation is pending to identify other suspects and charges are pending.
