WILMINGTON, DEL. (Nov. 23, 2016) The fatality of a person that decided to dart out onto the busiest travel day of the year, a fact that is repeated dozens of times each day by the media for the week leading up to Thanksgiving, was allowed to shut the entire rail line between Washington and New York.
According to Delaware State Police Director of Public Information Sergeant Richard D. Bratz, Troopers are currently on the scene of yet another case of deranged people walking out onto train tracks. This incident was involving a pedestrian who was killed after walking into the path of an Amtrak train north of Harmony Road.
Preliminary investigation reveals the incident occurred around 3:43 p.m. this afternoon when a northbound Amtrak commuter train struck a pedestrian that was on the tracks. The subject, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. The conductor was able to bring the train to a stop after the collision.
The investigation into this incident is in the early stages, and more information will be released when it becomes available.

Do police believe that they need to interview anyone? Unless the train jumped off the tracks and hunted this person down to kill them, someone involved needs to get their heads screwed on right.
