MURDER USA: New Castle Police Report Update to Woodcrest Shooting of Bystander
WOODCREST, DEL. – New Castle County Police reports that they continue to investigate the shooting of an innocent bystander by local criminals in the Woodcrest community.
New Castle County Police reports that detectives continue to investigate a shooting that left a 19-year-old man injured early on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016. The victim, who remains hospitalized, is listed in critical condition.
Detectives say the facts of the case, at this point in the investigation, lead them to believe the victim was an innocent bystander.
This is an ongoing and active investigation; further details will be released as they become available.
