On September 16, 2016, at approximately 2:02 p.m., the Emergency Communications Center (ECC) received a 9-1-1 call from an employee of the CVS Pharmacy located at 19594 Fisher Avenue in Poolesville initially reporting a robbery (this call was later determined to be a theft).  The employee stated that two suspects, identified later as Dew and Boyd, entered the CVS, vaulted the counter, stole medication, and fled in a vehicle confirmed later to be driven by Sanders.  The employee provided a description of Sanders’ vehicle and responding officers observed the described vehicle driving southbound on Darnestown Road at Germantown Road.  Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the car failed to stop and continued driving southbound on Darnestown Road.
