Stabbing at Olde Town Tavern leaves Graves Dead

FREDERICK, MD. – The City of Frederick Police reports that a man stabbed in a bar fight died at the hospital. On April 5, 2016, Brian Mario Graves, succumbed to injuries from being stabbed in a downtown bar and died at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Brian Graves was a 36-year-old resident of Frederick, MD.

Sgt. Aaron Lapp reports that the Frederick Police Department is continuing to investigate this incident as a homicide investigation. Detectives are currently attempting to identify and locate witnesses to the assault who may have been a patron of the Olde Towne Tavern or in the 300 block of N. Market Street when the assault occurred Monday morning.

The Frederick Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward and assist detectives in solving this case.
