  • Easton Police report that on November 16, 2015, Don Terrell Chester, 18, of Easton, MD was charged with three counts of possession of CDS with the intent to distribute, three counts of possession of CDS, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of CDS-common nuisance. Zane Nikia Bell, 18, of Denton, MD was charged with three counts of possession of CDS with the intent to distribute, three counts of possession of CDS, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of CDS-common nuisance and one count of removal of a prescription bottle label.

EASTON, MD.  – Easton Police reports that on November 23, 2015, at 11:15 PM officers responded to The Greens apartment on S. Washington Street for a reported robbery.

Eastern Shore Police BeatThe investigation revealed that an African-American male and a Caucasian male approached the victim, the African-American displaying a knife and demanding the victim’s wallet. The victim was then struck in the face and fell to the ground and was kicked several times. The suspects then stole the victim’s cell phone and wallet.

Stupid Alleged Pot Dealer Broadcast High Notes to Cops

EASTON, MD. — How about those latest tunes blasting from the vehicle next to you at a stoplight. Police report that one bozo with loud music caught the attention of an Easton Police officer.

On November 20, 2015, Montez Harrigan, 27, of 414 Glenwood Ave., Easton, Md., was charged with possession of CDS with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say that Harrigan was driving a vehicle in the South Aurora Street area when Easton Police Officer A. Bayne heard amplified sound coming from the vehicle at greater than 50 feet. An odor of marijuana emitted from the vehicle and a search revealed marijuana and paraphernalia. Harrigan was held on a $7,500.00 bond by the court commissioner.

Alleged Heroin Dealer Jailed; Will He Get Turkey or Have to Eat Crow?

EASTON, MD. Easton Police reports that a Hurlock man is sitting in the slammer on heroin charges.

On November 20, 2015, Samuel Ellis Wilson, 61, of Easton, MD was charged on a criminal citation with possession of drug paraphernalia. Sammy Lee Young, 53, of 5630 Church Hall Road, Hurlock, Md., was charged with possession of CDS with the intent to distribute, possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia.  According to court records, Officer Tindall stopped a vehicle at Dover and Locust Streets for an equipment violation. A K-9 scan was conducted, and a positive alert was given by the K-9. A search revealed heroin that was packaged for distribution. Young was found with a smoking device. Wilson was released after being issued the citation. Young was held on a $30,000.00 bond by the court commissioner.

Young has a taxpayer-provided attorney representing him even though the law requires that those who can afford attorneys must provide evidence of their income if they want a public defender. Drug dealers often take advantage of the generosity of the taxpayers until they discover that a paid attorney might get them less time in the slammer. Young has previously been charged with drug distribution in Talbot County.

EASTON, MD. — Easton Police report that on November 21, 2015, Kyle Dominic Handy, 24, of Easton, MD was charged on traffic citations with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, negligent driving, and failure to drive right of center. A vehicle was stopped on Dover Road near Kemp Lane for driving erratically. Handy was found to be the driver and the officer believed that Handy had been drinking. Further investigation led to Handy being taken into custody. Handy was later released after being issued the citations.

Darren Brown busted for DUI on Dover Road

EASTON, MD. — Easton Police report that on November 19, 2015, Darren Lloyd Brown, 46, of Easton, MD was charged on traffic citations with driving while impaired by alcohol, driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license. Brown was stopped on Dover Road for an equipment violation. During the stop, the officer believed that Brown had been drinking. After further investigation, Brown was taken into custody. Brown was released after being issued citations.

Two Teens Working Hard at Building Criminal Resumes with Drug Arrests

EASTON, MD. — Easton Police report that on November 16, 2015, Don Terrell Chester, 18, of Easton, MD was charged with three counts of possession of CDS with the intent to distribute, three counts of possession of CDS, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of CDS-common nuisance. Zane Nikia Bell, 18, of Denton, MD was charged with three counts of possession of CDS with the intent to distribute, three counts of possession of CDS, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of CDS-common nuisance and one count of removal of a prescription bottle label. Officers responded to Corbin Parkway and Fourth Street for a report of people using CDS inside a vehicle. As the officers arrived, Bell quickly exited the vehicle, and the odor of marijuana was evident as he exited. Further investigation revealed marijuana in plain view inside the vehicle in the driver’s side floorboard. The amount of marijuana indicated the intent to distribute the marijuana. Additionally, Bell was found with a prescription medicine that was not his and marijuana. Bell was held on a $2,500.00 bond, Chester was held on a $25,000.00 bond by the court commissioner.
