Cops: Alleged Thug Davon Cook broke into home and grabbed iPad; smacked woman

Prince William County Police BeatMANASSAS, VA. – Prince William County Police report that a man burglarized a home fled on a bicycle, of unknown origin, but perhaps also stolen. 

Police say that on October 5th at 1:57 AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11000 block of Stagestone Way in Manassas, Va., to investigate a burglary in progress.

The victim, an 18-year-old woman of Manassas, reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, entered her residence and grabbed the victim’s iPad before attempting to flee. The victim grabbed ahold of the accused who then assaulted her. The accused then fled the area on bicycle and was eventually detained by other officers near his residence. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. Minor injuries were reported.

Arrested on October 5th: Davon Eugene COOK, 23, of 7451 Willoughby Ln, #301 in Manassas. Cook was charged with burglary, simple assault, grand larceny and obstruction of justice. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond

Hoods of Woodbridge burglarized store

WOODBRIDGE, VA. – The Hoods of Woodbridge continue to help the area expand its reputation as being over-run with crime. Prince William County Police report that unknown dirtbags broke into a store.

On October 5th at 6:44AM, officers responded to Nando’s Peri-Peri located at 15001 Potomac Town Pl in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:00PM on October 4th and 6:00AM on October 5th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the business. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

Residents go to work; burglars go to town on home, clean it out of electronics

TRIANGLE, VA. – The criminal class believe they are entitled to anything that anyone else has.  Prince William County Police reported that on September 27th at 12: 07 AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 17800 block of Curtis Dr. in Triangle to investigate a burglary.

The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:15PM and 11:15AM on September 26th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Multiple laptops, 3 televisions, a gaming console and other property were reported missing.
