LEONARDTOWN, MD. – St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron reports that on July 23, 2015, Deputy Jason Smith was walking out of the District Court Carter building when he saw suspect Troy David Yates, age 49, of Lexington Park, who he knew from prior contact. Yates walked over to the victim and began to talk to the victim in violation of an active protective order.

McGowan also robbed the New York Fried Chicken store on East Patapsco in Baltimore on August 19 and 30, 2014. On both occasions, he pointed a weapon at an employee. He fled with $200 on the first occasion and an undetermined amount on the second robbery.
Two of the occupants, later identified as Frans Caleb Estima, 21, and Jacob Tyler Sharp, 20, of Blandon PA, were arrested. Estima was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing and hindering. Sharp was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, concealed dangerous weapons and obstructing and hindering. The third occupant was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana and released.
