At some point during the incident, the vehicle then turned around and accelerated towards the sheriff’s deputy. Fearing for his life, the deputy pulled his department-issued .40 caliber Glock pistol and shot multiple times at the vehicle. The Mercury continued into the backyard of a residence on Augustine Herman Highway where it struck a tree.

MIAMI – The Coast Guard has suspended the search for a cruise ship passenger who reportedly went overboard from a 6th deck balcony early Sunday morning.
Cameron Smook, a 21-year-old student at Virginia Tech, reportedly fell overboard from the Carnival Glory approximately 5 miles south of Abaco Island, Bahamas.

GREAT MILLS, Maryland – An armed robber walked into the Quick Shop gas station and convenience store (former Wawa ) on Great Mills Road on March 9, 2015, at 9:06 PM, and robbed the clerk at gunpoint, report police. In addition, the dirtbag struck the clerk with his gun before leaving.
Lt. Bill Hargrove reports that that Kyle Loyd left the scene but was located a short time later by members of the Newark Police Street Crimes Unit. Loyd was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Newark Police Department.
The two story, wood framed single family dwelling was heavily damaged, which caused it to collapsed. A single adult female occupant was in the structure at the time of the fire and reported the fire to 911. Upon the dispatch of the fire, two local off duty Prince George’s County firemen arrived at the scene. They made entry into the structure, discovered a female occupant and removed her from the residence.
The initial police report stated that the Jeep was traveling eastbound on Rt. 50 and turned north/bound onto Sixty Foot Road and was in the process of crossing Rt. 50 at about 7:40 pm. The police reported that the Mazda was traveling westbound on Rt. 50 when it t-boned the Jeep in the passenger side of the vehicle in the intersection. Police said that alcohol was not a factor but in the case of fatal wrecks, a blood sample taken from both drivers is required and that test would determine whether any drugs or alcohol were in the systems of either operator, even though the initial observations of the troopers on the scene reveal no obvious signs of substances.
The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that the victim and the suspect became involved in a verbal altercation at the location. During the altercation, the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times and then fled the scene.
