Murder USA: Police Investigate Homicide in Centreville

MURDER USACENTREVILLE, VA. Fairfax County Police report that a man died from stab wounds inflicted by an unknown person on Dec. 13, 2014. Police report that they responded to a home in the 14,000 block of Cool Oak Lane on Saturday, December 13 shortly before 4 p.m. for the report of a man suffering from an apparent stab wound. Officers located the victim inside the home; unresponsive.

They immediately began CPR while awaiting the arrival of Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

The victim, 29-year-old Mario Cedillo-Santiago, was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital and was pronounced dead around 9 p.m. Saturday.

Homicide detectives and Crime Scene technicians responded to the scene. The initial investigation determined that roommates at the Cool Oak Lane address heard an argument between the victim and an unidentified person. When they went to investigate, the assailant had fled and the victim was discovered.
