Prince William County Police Beat: Stabbed and robbed of necklace by his hooligan friends; police seek to round-up gang members

Prince William County Police BeatMANASSAS, VA. – Prince William County Police report that on November 25th at 4:34PM, officers responded to investigate a stabbing which was reported to have occurred in the 10900 block of Coverstone Dr. in Manassas. The investigation revealed that the victim, an 18-year-old man of Manassas, was stabbed multiple times by two known acquaintances following a physical altercation in the above area.

During the encounter, one of the suspects also attempted to take the victim’s necklace. A friend of the victim, a 17 year old male juvenile of Manassas, was also present during the incident and attempted to intervene.

At that point, one of the suspects attempted to stab the victim’s friend; however, the suspect did not make contact. The victim sustained significant injuries and was taken to an area hospital by friends where police were contacted.

Detectives were able to identify both assailants involved in this incident as male juveniles belonging to a gang. Following the investigation, detectives obtained charges against both juveniles. The suspects are not in currently custody and are actively being sought by police. Police emphasized that “This was not a random incident”.

A 15 year old male juvenile of Manassas Wanted for 1 count of aggravated malicious wounding, 1 count of attempted armed robbery, 1 count of stabbing while in commission of a felony and 3 counts of gang participation.

 

Crime ReportCouple robbed at gunpoint by thugs in parking garage

WOODBRIDGE, VA. – Police report that on November 25th at 9:09PM, officers responded to the 14700 block of Potomac Heights Pl in Woodbridge, Va. to investigate a robbery. The victim, an 18-year-old woman of Triangle, reported to police that she and a known male acquaintance were walking through a residential parking garage in the above area when they encountered two unknown men. During the encounter, the men pulled out handguns and demanded property. The victim’s male acquaintance immediately fled on foot. One of the suspects pursued the male acquaintance. The other suspect took the victim to an interior apartment, at which point, the first suspect returned with a second victim, a 19 year old woman of Woodbridge. Once inside the apartment, the men took a wallet and money from the victims before fleeing. No injuries were reported. This was not a random incident.

Black male, between 20 & 30 years of age, 6’1”, 190lbs with a medium build, dark complexion, short black hair and brown eyes

Last seen wearing a green jacket and dark colored jeans

Black male, between 20 & 30 years of age, 5’9”, 150lbs with a thin build, light complexion, short black hair, brown eyes and a goatee

Date night turned to felonious assault and robbery

MANASSAS, VA. – Prince William County Police report that on November 25th at 10:51PM, officers responded to the 8200 block of Sudley Rd in Manassas, Va. to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 19 year old man of Leesburg, reported to police that he had made arrangements to meet with a known female acquaintance at a restaurant in the above area. Once there, he was approached by three unknown men. The victim attempted to run from the men to a neighboring business. The suspects were able to catch up to the victim and assault him. The men took the victim’s cell phone before fleeing on foot. Minor injuries were reported. This was not a random incident.

Hispanic male, between 17 & 25 years of age, 5’5”, 135lbs with a thin build, short black hair and brown eyes

Burglar carted out a safe; set off alarm

Bristow, Va. – When no one is at home and ready to blast a burglar with a gun, the bad guys get away with the loot.  Police say that on November 24th at 9:21PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13300 block of Whinney Ford Ct Bristow (20136) to investigate an alarm activation. Officers arrived at the home and discovered an open rear window. The screen from the window had been removed and damaged. The locks on the window itself also appeared to have been damaged. A small safe containing jewelry and prescription medications were reported missing.

Strong Armed Robbery

WOODBRIDGE, VA. – On November 24th at 1:22PM, officers responded to the 14400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 43 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he walking through the Prince William Plz when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect grabbed the victim’s cell phone from his hands and fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported.

Suspect Description:

Hispanic male, between 17 & 25 years of age, 5’6” with a thin build and light complexion.

Last seen wearing a black jacket, green vest and black hat.

Prince William Police Report the Following Burglaries:

Home InvasionResidential Burglary – On November 24th at 10:05PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8700 block of Dunstable Lp in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:45PM and 8:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured rear window. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

 

Residential Burglary – On November 24th at 7:25PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7900 block of Nodi Ct in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:40AM and 3:30PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured basement level window. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

 

Residential Burglary – On November 24th at 10:05AM, officers responded to a residence under construction located in the 13700 block of Senea Dr in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary. The property owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on November 21st and 7:00AM on November 24th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through the garage area. Two condensers and two furnaces were reported missing.

 

Residential Burglary – On November 15th at 7:58PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13500 block of Bentley Cir in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:50AM and 2:40PM on November 14th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured rear window. Jewelry, two gaming consoles, iPod and other items were reported missing.
