Anne Arundel Police Beat: Jersey Boy Roys Nabbed in Home Invasion

Jersey Roy Boys Charged in Home InvasionAttempted Home Invasion Robbery Arrests –

MILLERSVILE, MD. Anne Arundel County Police report that on November 10, 2014, at approximately 1:12 p.m., officers from the Western District responded to the KOA Campground located in the 700 block of Cecil Avenue S. in Millersville for a report of an armed subject.

Upon arrival, officers learned it was an attempt home invasion. The 29-year-old female victim’s husband was targeted, but not home at the time. Investigation revealed that the suspects drove down from New Jersey complaining that the victim’s husband owed them money. The first suspect tried to force his way into the victim’s mobile home at gunpoint, but the managed to kick the suspect before he could gain entrance. That suspect then fled to a waiting vehicle being driven by a second suspect.

That vehicle was located a short time later and close to the scene, occupied by both suspects. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident and identified by the victim. The suspects were charged with attempted home invasion, attempt first degree burglary, handgun violations and first and second degree assault.

Suspect #1: Michael John Roy, 37, of 45 Bayside Parkway, North Middletown, NJ

Suspect #2:  Ronald E. Roy, 38, of 385 Highway 35, Red Bank, NJ
