Crime ReportLeonardtown, Md.  06/16/2014 — Maryland State Police Sgt. Jeff Jones reports that on June 16, 2014 members from the Maryland State Apprehension Team (MSAT) located suspect Jamarr Sherman Mackall (22), DOB: 12/13/91 at a residence in Lusby, Calvert County, MD.

Mackall had an open warrant for first and second degree assault on Joseph Cephus Harrod II.

Mackall was arrested without incident and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.

On June 9, 2014 the victim, Joseph Cephus Harrod, II (28) from Lexington Park, MD was allegedly stabbed by Mackall.

Police say that Mackall fled the scene prior to Leonardtown Barrack Troopers and Deputies arrival.  Harrod was flown to a nearby Trauma Center.  He is currently in stable condition.
