The Black Bandits: Armed robbers invaded home in Leonardtown; one victim hit in head with gun

Crime ReportLEONARDTOWN, MD. — According to St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron, two armed black men, dressed all in black, walked into an unlocked residence and robbed the occupants of cash and personal belongings on the same day that taxpayers pay taxes.
On April 15, 2014 at approximately 6:00 P.M. Sheriff’s Office patrol units responded to the 41000 block of Norris Ct.Leonardtown, Maryland for the report of a home invasion. Deputies determined two suspects entered the unsecure residence, armed with handguns and demanded money from the occupants.  The Criminal Investigations Division was contacted and detectives responded and assumed the case.
It was determined two African American males, dressed in all black clothing,  armed with dark in color handguns, entered the residence through an unlocked front door and immediately ordered the occupants to the floor. The suspects proceeded to steal cash and personal property of the victim from inside the residence before fleeing the residence on foot.  One resident of the home received a small laceration to the head after being struck with one of the handguns. No other injuries were reported.
